Me
Hello and welcome.
I’m doing an MA in Magazine Journalism at City University. I studied philosophy, politics and economics at Oxford University. After graduating I worked for Deloitte LLP for three years.
Once I had qualified as a Chartered Accountant, I decided to choose something I really wanted to do and so took up the uncertain, but more exciting path, to become a journalist.
I love travelling to grotty and strange places, I enjoy sport and have ran three marathons. I am interested in war, this is inspired by my time in the OTC at University. I like to know what’s going on and talking to interesting people.
I like to escape too, with great book or good film.

Hello,
My husband and I are thinking about wwoofing at la ferme des jarouilles and I am having difficulty finding reviews of what it’s like to live/work with them. I was wondering if you might be able to tell me a bit more about your experience. Did you enjoy it? How many days a week did you work? What were the accommodations like? (I’d be going with my husband.) Were you able to borrow a bike/get to town? What activities did you do on the farm? (I’m particularly interested in learning to make yogurt and cheese.) I have more questions . . . but if you have a chance to tell me a bit about your experience, that’d be great.
Thanks!
Catherine
